THE RANDOLPH’S KITCHEN

E-DESIGN

The Randolphs wanted to breathe new life into their kitchen—something simple, bold, and reminiscent of the charm found in small French kitchens. The original space was clean but quiet, missing the personality they wanted to live with every day.

We brought that vision to life by building a warm, classic foundation—wood countertops, timeless subway tile, and clean, intentional finishes—then adding a true statement moment: custom wallpaper inspired by French art-deco motifs. The result is a kitchen that feels collected, stylish, and full of character, with just the right balance of ease and impact.

HOW WE GOT HERE!

1) Vision + Direction
We started with a design deep-dive to define what “simple, bold, French charm” meant for their everyday life—reference images, must-haves, and what needed to change (and what didn’t).

2) Concept + Key Moves
Next, we mapped the few high-impact decisions that would shift the room without overcomplicating it: warmth, contrast, and a handful of timeless anchors.

3) Materials + Finish Selections
We refined the palette to pieces that do the heavy lifting—wood for softness, subway tile for structure, and hardware/finishes that keep everything clean but elevated.

4) The Statement Moment
With the foundation set, we introduced the custom wallpaper—art-deco inspired and distinctly French—to give the kitchen its personality and “collected” feel.

5) Contractor Coordination + Execution Support
Finally, we prepared a clear plan the Randolphs could hand off to their contractor—specs, selections, and sourcing links—so installation and finishing details stayed consistent from start to finish.
